We've survived having covid, thank You, God. There are residual issues for each of us, but we press forward. Weather in Iowa has been a rollercoaster this year. It is a cold 34 degrees as I type this, but the grass is green and there is a hint of spring in the air. But, if you blink, you'll miss it. Seriously, I think we are all ready for better times, warmer weather, and get togethers with our families and friends.
Miss Bou is well. Chris and Stephen are doing well. I've battled different issues related to autoimmune disorders, but all in all, we are doing a good job of weathering the storm, and staying the course.
Editing continues to keep me busy most days. I did complete my first full novel in a couple years. Be watching for a launch and pre-order announcement on Twitter and Facebook. This book is a true labor of love. It is unlike any of my other books--raw, edgy, heart-wrenching.
I will post more on the blog as things unfold. The winters are always slow and all I want to do is mole. Now that we have seasonal changes, I'm coming out of my lair and ready to start doing things, including writing. My next project will be completing a Christmas novel.
Until next time, stay safe and here is a little something for you all to remember.
“May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.”
