For us here in the Midwest, the temperatures have been perfect...until this past week when summer decided to come back with heat indices of over 90 with humidity hitting that mark as well!
The summer has been jammed full of appointments, planning, more appointments and more planning...and squeeze in there several different doctor appointments...I don't know whether I'm coming or going!
So many great things planned for the rest of this year! A first ever Multi-author event at the local winery, a much needed vacation, two cover reveals, two book releases in November, and all of the standard holiday antics personally and at the flower shop.
As this new week begins, for me it begins with attending an open house for work, cleaning windows, and preparing for Fall before it's too late. Word has it in NW Montana 1-3 inches of snow has or will be falling this weekend! Follow the webcams on the Glacier National Park website http://www.nps.gov/glac/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm
Monday sees me meeting with a Literary correspondent from the Cedar Rapids Gazette regarding the upcoming Book/Wine/Music event at Fireside Winery. If you haven't marked your calendar, please do. This is your opportunity to meet and visit with some awesome authors....purchase their books and have them personally sign them. Rumor has it that several giveaways will be going on that day...and there is one prize all in attendance will want to register for....signed copies of books from all the authors, wine from Fireside, and some other goodies as well. Keep the afternoon of Sunday, September 28th from 1-5 available.
Sunny, my darling vehicle, has decided it's time for her to see her favorite mechanic, much to my dismay...so Tuesday it's her "spa" day. (Hoping she won't break the bank!)
The rest of the week is filled with caring for the little 2.5 month old kitten--Baboo, mailings, finalizing vacation plans, writing, working at my real job, and more writing!
Some more awesome news will be hitting the website soon....can't reveal any of it just yet because it is too epic! You will be pleasantly surprised...no...shocked...no pleasantly shocked....oh well, you get the picture!
So, on that note...I bid you a great week ahead. Keep positive, be thankful daily for your blessings, and I'll see you in September. (here for the website news...but I can pop up anywhere and everywhere...)
