Today, the world outside my window is dressed in a beautiful outfit of glistening white. Many, many layers of white...6.5 inches to be exact! The real challenge for everyone comes tonight and into Thursday. Our temperatures plummet, the winds pick up, and our chill factors are down to a -40 degrees!
So, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, a fresh pot of coffee, and get comfortable with a warm blanket and thick socks. Winter is here to stay for a while. Tune in your favorite TV show, old movie...or grab your Kindle or Nook or your favorite book and relax.
I've been working on a secret RAK project (Random Act of Kindness) that I should have done by the end of the week, if I'm lucky. My writing muse has gone south where its warmer, I'm sure, because she sure isn't here whispering in my ear! :D
Lots of ideas for new books, different story lines, and a companion series for Acorn Hills that will be set in the town of Lindenport! There are many books to write and so little time to do it!
I'm also branching out into editing, proofreading, reviewing, and making book teasers. If any of you are interested in any of these services, please give me a shout and we can discuss your needs.
Well, its way past time to grab another blanket and toss the old Bed Buddy in the microwave. Be smart when you're driving and always carry a winter survival kit in your vehicles.
Until next time,
Hugs and love to all
